The course offers excellent content and is highly recommended for anyone working with children or young people with LD, ASD, or SLD. It provides essential information, tools, and skills that are beneficial in this field.

I have a better understanding of the value of play besides providing self-regulation. I started using play in my class as a learning tool, not only to practice social skills but also to cultivate language, vocabulary, fine-motor skills and the concept of time and sequencing. This has greatly improved learning in the class since these learning opportunities feel low-demand to the students. As a result, they learn by participating in a fun activity.

Thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the 'online' experience. I have never undertaken a course online before and I was so pleased everybody made it such an easy experience for me. The course itself was informative, and well organised. I'm looking forward to further developing my knowledge and skills when I begin another course, Supporting Verbal Pupils with ASD, this week

Speech and language was an area I had identified as a weakness and not knowing much about. This course has given me the knowledge and understanding of why things are done so it sticks in my head more and is an active part of my practice now as well as making me realise that I did know some bits and some of what was suggested in the course I was already doing but didn't realise I was doing it or it was the right thing to be doing.

The course has been a massive help in giving me tools and strategies to help individuals. It's given me the confidence to try things too.
